Run the mixer with the basics and then go back and fill in the spaces and draw in the roads. Things like the old west buildings, large factory and militrary structures, as well as redundant waste of space prefabs from vanilla get pulled. Using the rwgmixer from compopack, and depending on the type of map i want, I remove a large number of buildings from the mixer. There can sometimes be some flattened road looking residue on the map, but someone mentioned a fix that I can let you know is successful or not next go. This basically breaks the farming in the game entirely as you cannot farm. Okay, no biggy, that perk tree also gives more plants per harvest. So you have to get a perk now to make a seed from a plant. People are in desperate need of good seeds. For all poor AMD users: I generated some 8K random maps in my NVIDIA GPU Laptop and uploaded them to google drive. So we are starting a new thread as of A17.2. Yet when generated there are still Wasterlands and BurntForest areas on the map. Also I commented out Wasteland and Burnt Forest and replaced them with PineForest for example. Kidding aside, we all know that RWG is in flux right now and the map has changed a few times and most recently been reverted back to 17.1 settings so it is kind of confusing whether listed seeds will actually be awesome for whatever version you might be playing. Example Seeds (EverQuest and A17) - in A16 they are drastically different worlds generated. Has a good bit of each biome and have found some larger buildings as well as a good mix of other POIs.
